Stays in Touraine

International-sur-Loire is based in Tours, and we strongly recommend staying in the Touraine region, where “the purest French is spoken” (according to Michelet).

Tours and the Val de Loire, the “Garden of France”, with its renowned chateaux (Chenonceaux, Chambord, Villandry, Blois, Amboise…), its rich culture, its exquisite gastronomy, its famous writers read worldwide… only 1 hour south of Paris on thefast train (TGV) or 1h40m directly from the Charles de Gaulle airport – the perfect spot for a linguistic stay in total immersion.

The two schools we have selected as preferred partners are Tours Langues for the adults, and Saint-Denis International School in Loches for the juniors.

Tours Langues, located in the historic heart of the city, Place Plumereau, is for students from age 16 to 99. You will be warmly welcomed by a team of dedicated professors who love their job, and who have developed and apply pedagogical programs with great care, in a most pleasant environment of study. Classes are composed of small groups, which is another strong point.

Backed by a long experience in language teaching, Saint-Denis International School also offers FFL internships to young people from all around the world. Loches is an ideal location for the reception and supervision of juniors. The site is perfectly adapted to the specific needs of young students, and the French courses are complemented by a program of activities.

Our partner schools have the label Qualité FLE, awarded by the French ministry of Education, which is a guarantee of quality.
